Overview of the Department

  • The planning department is responsible for the planning issues related to various airports / urban / industrial projects undertaken by MADC
  • The planning department mainly deals with the preparation of proposal for declaration of MADC as a Special Planning Authority, Development Plan / Proposal of developing of land and Development Control Regulations for the airport project area, where MADC is Special Planning Authority
  • It also handles the regulatory compliance related with Planning and Development Control

Key Functions

Planning department handles following key functions:

  • Preparation of Development Plan / Proposal for Development of Land and Development Control Regulations
  • Allocation of plots for various Land use
  • Development permissions as per DCR
  • Issuing commencement, plinth completion, and occupancy certificate at various stages, sectoral layout & maintaining records
  • Assisting in documents for height clearance from AAI
