Overview of the Department

The planning department is responsible for the planning issues related to various airports / urban / industrial projects undertaken by MADC
The planning department mainly deals with the preparation of proposal for declaration of MADC as a Special Planning Authority, Development Plan / Proposal of developing of land and Development Control Regulations for the airport project area, where MADC is Special Planning Authority
It also handles the regulatory compliance related with Planning and Development Control

Key Functions

Planning department handles following key functions:

Preparation of Development Plan / Proposal for Development of Land and Development Control Regulations
Allocation of plots for various Land use
Development permissions as per DCR
Issuing commencement, plinth completion, and occupancy certificate at various stages, sectoral layout & maintaining records
Assisting in documents for height clearance from AAI
